Staff enter a phone number. A text goes out the moment the coat is checked, with a link and a short pickup code. Any phone that can receive a message can pick the coat up. Nothing to install.
The same link and pickup code, in WhatsApp, when the venue has it turned on. Guests can choose it when they pre-register. Staff can send WhatsApp instead of the text.
COAT TICKET
Show this at pickup
For a guest who already has CoatCheck. They show their code, staff scan it, and the ticket opens in the app. No message goes out. Pickup is that ticket on their phone.
At the counter
A link, a short pickup code, or the QR in the app. Staff redeem whichever the guest has. All three open the same ticket.
